Simultaneous and consecutive interpreting: our services for your multilingual events

Simultaneous, consecutive or liaison interpreting

Experts in organizing all types of interpreting assignments, Caupenne & Co. provides multilingual support for your events by providing simultaneous conference interpreters or liaison interpreters.

Which types of projects?

Simultaneous interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting involves orally translating the words of a speaker with just a few seconds’ delay.

This configuration is ideally suited to the organization and oral translation of your European works council meetings, governance and supervisory committee meetings, presentations, sales seminars, conferences, board meetings, business meetings etc. To ensure high quality, due to the intense concentration required, interpreters work in pairs and alternate every 20 to 30 minutes.

Remote interpreting

Caupenne & Co. offers remote interpreting solutions for any number of languages while meeting the security and confidentiality standards businesses require.

Remote interpreting is a good solution for remote meetings, reducing the costs of organization, logistics, travel and accommodation.

Consecutive (or liaison) interpreting

In consecutive interpreting, unlike simultaneous, the interpreter translates after the speaker has finished. The speaker leaves gaps in what they are saying so that the interpreter can explain what has just been said.

This configuration is suited to commercial negotiations, professional interviews, factory visits, training sessions and audits. For both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting assignments, we always call on qualified professional conference interpreters selected based on their area of expertise.

Which type of equipment?

Based on the type of interpreting chosen (simultaneous or consecutive), we work closely with your team to specify the most suitable equipment for your assignment and the work location. We advise on the sound equipment that will be needed and can offer a “turnkey” solution, from selecting and coordinating the interpreters to arranging the equipment, including the written translation of supporting materials if necessary.

Who carries out the task?

Conference interpreters. For this type of assignment, we select the best specialists in your field of activity from our list of interpreters.

Caupenne & Co. uses the best and most up-to-date translation technologies to optimize project management, reduce costs and adapt to your events. To find out more, take a look at our Technologies page.
